“Environmental audit” is a general term that can reflect various types of evaluations intended to identify environmental compliance and management system implementation gaps, along with related corrective actions. In this way they perform a similar function to financial audits. There are generally two different types of environmental audits: compliance audits and management systems audits.
Our auditors understand audit principles, procedures and techniques, and have gained experience through conducting a vast number of audits both for organisations internally and externally, as well as for certification bodies where our Specialist Auditor functions as Lead Auditor in some instances. Given the fact that he is also an environmental scientist and assessment practitioner with over 10 years’ experience clients have, on a number of occasions, commended the value that is added during our audits. Apart from our specialist auditor, we also have supplementary ISO 14001 accredited auditors and ECO auditors to attend to audits on behalf of developers, contractors and license holders.
